Hi, my name is Lakisha and I'm thrilled to welcome you to Mother to Mother Network, a community that emerged from the depths of my own motherhood journey and a passion for creating a space uniquely tailored for women like you.
After becoming a mom at the tender age of 18, I embarked upon an adventure filled with many uncertainties. I found myself, quite literally, a baby having a baby. Navigating the uncharted waters of motherhood, I leaned heavily on the support of my immediate family but deep down, yearned for a sense of belonging, for a community that truly understood.
Fast forward almost 13 years later to 2021, I joyously embraced motherhood for the second time. It was then, once again, that I encountered the stark reality of the lack of resources and support available to women entrusted with the monumental task of raising the next generation and this time around, I couldn't just sit back and do nothing. It was in this realization that Mother to Mother Network was born.
Mother to Mother Network isn't just about parenting tips; it's about fostering a sense of belonging, understanding, and collective empowerment. From curated resources to heartfelt community interactions, Mother to Mother Network is designed to be a haven where every mother, regardless of age or experience, can find the support and encouragement they deserve as they navigate their own motherhood journey.
